I made a Heart wall hanging for Feb. I will hang it on my door at work. It is about 16" x 16". I cut the strips 1 1/2" wide. I put rick-rack between the heart and border.
The Pirate quilt was very easy and
quick to make. It took me about 3 hrs to sew the top. Click here to go to the pattern. I still need to sandwich and quilt it. I will donate it to charity when it is done.
I started another quilt. This is called Strip Twist by Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville.com. The pattern and can be found here. I used a jelly roll so I didn't have to cut any 2 1/2" strips. This is just some of the blocks on my design wall. I haven't decided if I'll put a border on it.

I made a new wall hanging to decorate my office
at work. Since it isJanuary and we are expecting snow I thought snowballs would be appropriate. It is about 13" x 13". The pattern came from the book "Quilts in My Cubicle" by Barbara Holtzman. The book has quilts for each month of the year.
I have been making these Tic-Tac-Toe blocks
today. I found the instructions on a Block Lotto site. They are easy to make and very addicting. I'm not sure how many I will make or how I will put them together. I'm leaning toward a sashing using the background fabric.
